For over 20 years, I have been designing solutions and strategies at the intersection of the student experience, academics, and life after college.
In 2023, I founded Paré Consulting, LLC to expand my ability to make a difference for college students and institutions across the globe. Higher education is experiencing numerous challenges today, and I am a firm believer that we can leverage career services not only to improve career outcomes, but to help institutions attract more students, demonstrate a better return on investment, and create valuable external partnerships.
I know these things are possible, because I have walked the walk.
Prior to launching into entrepreneurship, I held positions including Associate Vice Chancellor for Career Development and Education at Washington University in Saint Louis and Associate Dean and Executive Director at SuccessWorks at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, among others in academic and student affairs.
In addition to creating a nationally recognized career center, my efforts led to strategic gains in enrollment, better storytelling about the benefits of investing in a college education, improved career outcomes, increased engagement by alumni mentors, parents, donors, and employer partners, as well as intentionally designed career centers with high student engagement.
I have consulted with, coached, and trained over 25 institutions globally, including numerous institutions across the Big 10+, smaller private liberal arts colleges, and the Universities of Iceland, Jordan, and Kazakhstan.
